Founded in 2003 by a small group of directors of private special educational
facilities in the State of Connecticut, The Children's League of Connecticut
seeks to serve children and their families who require a full spectrum of
available services.
As a group, the educators and administrators who make up the members
of The Children's League of Connecticut have a combined 600+ years of
professional experience in attending to the issues that affect the welfare of
Connecticut's children including the provision of behavioral health services, child abuse and neglect, juvenile justice and education.
While our members directly impact the lives of Connecticut's young people
through their own agencies and facilities, we collectively work to promote
policies, legislation and delivery of services for children, serving as a voice
with our legislature for those who do not yet have their own voice.
If your organization would like to apply for membership to The Children's
League of Connecticut, please feel free to review our mission
& vision statements, bylaws and membership
information.
